# How Sporty works

Sporty is a sports schedule and viewing directory. You pick the sports and places you care about. We show upcoming events with start times in your time zone, then list published ways to watch in a given country.

Links open external providers — Sporty does not stream the games. Some options need a login, subscription, or location check on the provider’s side. Open the app for your personal schedule and country context. Public country directories are listed under [Watch guides](/watch/).
